Hi! My name is Amber and I love cooking and baking! I am told a lot that I should have become a chef. I am a foster parent to teenagers and I also work for the same company as a Case Manager. My kids and coworkers are lucky as they get to sample all my creations :) and so is my boyfriend Nick :)
I love cooking and always have. I have been cooking for as long as I can remember, there are pictures of me when I was 2 covered in flour in my grandma's kitchen. I worked in some restaurants when I was in high school. When deciding what I wanted to do after high school it was a toss up between Chef and Child and Youth Work. Well I went with the latter and have kept cooking as a hobby.
I also love sharing my recipes and the food I make, so recently people have been asking me more and more for the recipes. I decided a blog would be the best way for me to do this.
In case anyone is wondering where the name came from here it is. Yaya is my nickname that started with my brother. It is what he called me when he couldn't say my name yet and it has stuck. As for the rest, I feel cooking is like magic, you never know what is going to come out and when it works people are amazed at the creations!
